A three-time All America in lacrosse, Vicki Pierce helped St. Lawrence to three straight NCAA appearances including back-to-back trips to the final four.
An outstanding defensive midfielder who also played soccer during her SLU career, Pierce was a key component in a defense which helped her teams go 48-13 in her four years. A contributor on offense as well as a star on defense, she helped the 1989 team to the NCAA semifinals and had three goals and two assists in 16 games in addition to helping the defense allow opponents only six goals per game. She was a key contributor in an even better defensive season in 1990 as she helped the Saints hold opponents to 5.05 goals per game.
She scored four goals and had five assists in the 1990 season and earned first-team All America honors as the Saints made the NCAA Division III championship game, losing by a goal to Ursinus in the final. That team also won SLU’s first New York State Championship and went 15-1.
She was a first-team regional All America and all-state player in each her sophomore, junior and senior seasons and earned second team national All-America honors as a sophomore and senior.
Vicki is now a Vice President/Investment Officer for Wells Fargo Advisors LLC.
