Bob Durocher Champions Fund

ST. LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT

The Bob Durocher Champions Fund provides support for St. Lawrence University student-athletes and teams who qualify for national championships. Established to honor the legacy of longtime St. Lawrence coach, administrator, and Athletic Director Bob Durocher, this fund helps offset the significant costs associated with qualifying for and competing in NCAA Championships.

Each year, Saints teams earn the right to represent St. Lawrence University at NCAA postseason competitions across the country. Travel to these championships often requires flights, lodging, meals, and extended stays that exceed standard team operating budgets. The Bob Durocher Champions Fund ensures that financial limitations never prevent our student-athletes from fully experiencing and competing at the highest level.

The Fund

Qualifying for the NCAA Championships is the result of years of dedication, training, and teamwork. For our student-athletes, it represents the pinnacle of collegiate competition. As a St. Lawrence coach and administrator, Coach Durocher’s impact provided a plethora of competitive opportunities for the Saints at NCAA Championships.

The Bob Durocher Champions Fund directly supports:
  • Air and ground transportation to NCAA Championship sites
  • Lodging and meals during extended postseason travel
  • Additional logistical costs tied to national competition
Your gift helps remove financial barriers so teams can hone their focus solely on performance, and representing the Scarlet and Brown.
