Facilities

St. Lawrence University's athletic facilities include state-of-the-art competition and training facilities for our varsity teams, as well as opportunities for intramurals and recreational activities.

George W. Karpus ’68 Athletic Center at Appleton Arena Karpus Athletic Center 130 Miner Street Road Canton, NY The George W. Karpus ’68 Athletic Center is a donor-funded space to uplift our Division III student-athletes, coaches, and staff. The space includes an expansion of the Michael “Buddy” Cornacchia ’74 Strength and Conditioning Center for all student-athletes, as well as new locker rooms and team facilities for the field hockey, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and rowing teams. The Karpus Athletic Center is also home to the new Haehl Athletic Training and Treatment Center, the Riesenberger Players Lounge, the Dotty and John Hall Coaches Strategy Room, and the McGinn Video and Media Room.
