FACILITY RENTAL GUIDELINES

The St. Lawrence University Athletic Facilities are home to multiple sports teams including football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, tennis, squash, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, swimming & diving, cross country, and track & field. In addition, Newell Fitness Center and other departments within the institution utilize these facilities on a priority basis for practice, competitions, camps, etc. throughout the year. These spaces offer a wide variety of venue space allowing it to be versatile for almost any event including conferences, parties, weddings, and receptions. If you would like to rent St. Lawrence University athletics facilities, please fill out our request form at the bottom of this page. 

Procedure
All parties requesting to use a St. Lawrence Athletic facility should fill out the rental request form at least 14 days prior to the event. 

Insurance
Please send a certificate of insurance to Fbari@stlawu.edu.

Cancellation Policy
The University must receive a notice at least 72 hours prior to the date of the event if the applicant chooses to cancel the use of a facility. Failure to provide cancellation notice 72 hours prior to the event may be subject to 50% renal agreement cost to be received by St. Lawrence University. 

Code of Conduct
St. Lawrence University expects reasonable and appropriate behavior from those who utilize facilities and participate in events. St. Lawrence University code of conduct ensures the safe enjoyment of all services and reserves the right to deny admission or take disciplinary action against those in in violation. A violation includes, but is not limited to, the use of obscene language or gestures, theft, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, sexual misconduct, indecency, harassment, failure to cooperate with staff, possessions of unlicensed weapons of any kind, non-compliance with established policies and procedures, an unlawful act, and any other behavior considered offensive or unacceptable.

Alcohol and Drug Policy
The possession, sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs in any form shall not be permitted in athletic facilities.

Locker Room Included in rental
Locker room will be built into the cost of the rental fee. 

Video/Score Board 
Audio-visual equipment and services are available for a additional fee (microphones, video board, score board, speaker system, televisions, etc.). Equipment is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.
