A key player for St. Lawrence in football, basketball and baseball for three years as an undergraduate, Tony Packer was one of the outstanding athletes in his class.

He led St. Lawrence to a 12-6 win over Cornell in 1935 with a 55-yard scoring run and paced that team to a 6-2 season as its top offensive player.

He was also a campus leader and was president of the sophomore class.

Following his graduation, he was coach of both baseball and basketball at Lehigh University from 1946-65.
