All six men's skiers skied career-bests and
Berit Meyers also notched a career-best on the women's side, as the St. Lawrence University Nordic ski team closed out the 2026 EISA carnival season at the Middlebury College Carnival/NCAA Eastern Regionals on Saturday at the Rikert Touring Center in Ripton, Vt.
With a slew of career performances,
Evan Nichols led the way placing 22nd in 52:43.4.
Oliver White and
Carl Morse also cracked the top 30, coming in 27th and 30th, respectively to also score for the Saints. Â
Meyers led the women's squad, recording a 43rd-place finish in 1:00:54.0, while
Stella Powell and
Samantha Legate posted back-to-back results in 53rd and 54th.
"The guys really set a new bar for themselves for next season, and it was great to see a lot of bests on the course today," said head coach
Ethan Townsend. "For the women it was a frustrating start with a couple crashes, Berit did well to rebound in the second part of the race and that was good to see a personal best for her too. It felt good to finish that way on the guys side and while today's course wasn't quite suited for the big rig that he is, Nico worked hard I'm proud of his four years on the team."
The men's team finished in seventh place, a season best for the Saints, while the women came in 11th overall.
Today's mass-start freestyle closed out the 2026 season for the Saints.
