St. Lawrence University's
Ian Clough was named the men's Rookie of the Meet after winning the 60-meter dash at the Liberty League Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at Newell Field House.
Clough, who set the meet record in the event with a time of 6.95 seconds in the preliminary round on Friday, finished in seven seconds flat on Saturday, five one-hundredths of a second ahead of RPI's Dale Kelly.
Dylan Babcock, who finished third in the shot put on Friday, followed with a win in the weight throw, posting a mark of 15.58 meters.
Gordon White, who was second in the long jump on Friday, capped an outstanding weekend with a third-place finish in the 200, a sixth in the 60 and was part of the Saints' third-place 4x400 relay team.
Max Lautenberg had an all-around solid performance in the heptathlon, finishing second among the 10 competitors in the long jump (6.20 meters) and the 60 hurdles (9.01 seconds) to finish third overall with 4,088 points.
Nathaniel Stowe had a season-best performance in the 60 hurdles, finishing fourth with a time of 8.70 seconds.
The Saints finished fourth in the six-team championship with 84 points. Ithaca won the team title with 187.33 points, with Rensselaer just four points behind in second.
