St. Lawrence University men's track and field distance runner Nick Lyndaker has been named the Liberty League Indoor Track Performer of the Year, the league announced this week.
The honor comes following a strong senior indoor campaign for Lyndaker. At the Liberty League Indoor Championships, he swept the mile and 3,000-meter run, accumulated 22 points for the Saints, and anchored the second-place distance medley relay.
Lyndaker also posted a fourth-place finish in the mile at the NCAA Division III Championships and broke the four-minute mile barrier in mid-February, clocking a 3:59.42 to become just the fifth man in D-III history to accomplish the feat.
He was additionally named the USTFCCCA Mideast Region Track Athlete of the Year earlier this week.
