St. Lawrence University men's track and field distance runner Nick Lyndaker has been selected as USTFCCCA Mideast Region track athlete of the year, the association announced this week. 

Lyndaker claims yet another award following a decorated senior year campaign. His crowning moment was a fourth-place finish in the mile at the NCAA D-III championships. This followed a dominant performance at the Liberty League Indoor Championships two weeks prior, where he racked up 22 points by sweeping the mile and 3,000-meter run and anchoring the second-place distance medley relay.

These postseason accolades come on the heels of his mid-February milestone, becoming only the fifth man in D-III history to break the four-minute barrier with a 3:59.42.
