The St. Lawrence University men's and women's track and field programs collected 15 USTFCCCA All-Region honorees, with 12 separate athletes earning the distinction following the conclusion of the regional indoor season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.
To earn All-Region recognition, athletes must place among the top-eight individuals in their event on the year-end Descending Order Lists for their region, or be a member of a relay team that finishes in the top-eight within the Mideast Region.
Nick Lyndaker led the way among the men, earning All-Region distinction in three events. Lyndaker was honored in the Mile and 3000-meter run as an individual, in addition to running a leg on the Distance Medley Relay. The men's Distance Medley Relay squad of
Cyrus Goetze,
Colin Ruddy,
Riley Cushman, and Lyndaker also earned All-Region honors as a unit.
Patrick Russell earned All-Region recognition in the 800-meter run, while
Erik Marelli picked up the honor in the 60-meter hurdles.
On the women's side, freshman
Ella Baker turned in one of the most impressive debut seasons in program history, earning All-Region honors in both the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.
Amelia Berthold capped her St. Lawrence career with All-Region recognition in the Pentathlon, a testament to her versatility and consistency across five events throughout the indoor season. The women's Distance Medley Relay team of
