Norah Dempsey and
Alec Nolan posted the top results in the slalom to lead the St. Lawrence University Alpine ski team on day two of the Williams College Carnival on Saturday at Jiminy Peak in Hancock, Mass.
Dempsey led the women's team with a career-best performance, finishing 37th in 1:45.11.
Lauren Haerter also placed for the Saints, coming in 38th in 1:45.24.
Nolan, who placed fifth in the giant slalom yesterday, placed 17th overall with a time of 1:37.63.
Jacob Foote also finished in the top-30, placing 28th in 1:39.00.
Simon Trudeau also scored for the Saints in 37th.
"Overall a decent day for the Saints," said head coach
Willi Steinrotter. "We had some good results on both the men's and women's teams and we're looking forward to regionals next weekend."
The men's team placed eighth in the slalom, while the women placed 12th. Combined with scores from the Nordic team, SLU placed 10th overall to close out the Williams Carnival.
