Alec Nolan capped his collegiate career with a 30th-place finish in the slalom at the 2026 NCAA Championships on Friday at the Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center at Utah Olympic Park in Park City.
A tough first run of the day with difficult conditions, Nolan slipped a couple times but was able to make the hikes back to each gate and finished the first run with a time of 1:20.97. Sitting 33.77 seconds off the lead time, Nolan was 31st after the first run of the day.
Nolan skied first out of the gate and had a near perfect second run, recording a time of 44:31, putting together a two-run time of 2:05.28, finishing 30th overall. Nolan's time of 44:31 was the fourth-fastest second run of the day.
"Alec finished off his collegiate career with a solid result after a tough first run," said head coach
Willi Steinrotter. "He showed that he is a top skier finishing fourth on the second run of the day. I'm so proud of Alec and what he has accomplished in his time at St. Lawrence and I know that he will be successful in what he chooses to do."
