The St. Lawrence University men's swimming and diving team capped the second day of the Middlebury Invitational with a series of personal milestones in the Green Mountain State.
Facing a competitive field as a final tune-up for the postseason, the Saints were anchored by first-year standout
Logan Doody, who delivered two individual podium finishes.
Doody notched a third-place finish in the 400-yard IM with a personal-best time of 4:25.05 and followed up that performance by taking third in the 100-yard freestyle, setting his personal record again with a swift 48.62.
Other key contributions came from sophomore
Josh Harris, who took seventh place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.27, and
Patrick Noonan, who touched the wall in 1:09.27 for ninth place during the 100-yard breaststroke.
In the relay events, the team of Doody,
Damian Julia,
Oliver Clancy, and Noonan combined for a seventh-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 3:40.16.
St. Lawrence now heads into the Liberty League Championships at Ithaca College later this month.
