The St. Lawrence University men's swimming and diving team kicked off the Liberty League Championships on Wednesday, completing the first of four days in Ithaca, N.Y. After the opening session of action, the Saints hold ninth place in the team standings.

The Scarlet and Brown closed out the evening's finals with a strong performance in the 400-yard medley relay. The team of
Logan Doody,
Josh Harris,
Anthony Gabrielli, and
Patrick Noonan combined for an 3:47.81 finish, claiming eighth place overall.

In individual competition,
Josh Harris highlighted the distance events with a 15th-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle. Harris touched the wall in 4:47.75, marking a new personal record in the event.

Logan Doody also earned a spot in the evening's finals, competing in the 200-yard individual medley. Doody clocked a season-best time of 1:57.86 to take 18th place.
