The St. Lawrence University men's swimming and diving team concluded the final day of the Liberty League Championships on Saturday at the Ithaca College Aquatics Center, finishing eighth overall in the 10-team field with 325 points. They vaulted up a spot in the standings after entering the fourth and final day in ninth.
The Saints' top performance of the evening came in the day's relay, as the 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Mason Zottola,
Josh Harris,
Patrick Noonan, and
Logan Doody touched the wall in eighth place. They posted a time of 3:20.16.
Harris led the way in individual competition, competing in two separate events during the final session. He opened the night with a 13th-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:57.21. Harris returned to the pool for the 1650-yard freestyle, where he placed 15th overall with a time of 17:20.33.
Oliver Clancy also scored for the Saints in the mile, finishing 21st with a time of 18:25.84.
