Sophomore
Jacob Foote recorded a career-best 22nd-place finish to highlight day two of the SLU Carnival and lead the St. Lawrence University Alpine ski team at Whiteface Mountain on Friday.
Foote skied a two-run time of 1:29.25 to lead the men's team on day two of the Saints home carnival.
Simon Trudeau came in 33rd in 1:30.77, while
Andrew Van Slyke placed 43rd in 1:32.11.
Mollie McTigue led the women's team in 39th with a time of 1:40.06.
Arielle Haccoun Choquette and
Lauren Haerter placed 42nd and 44th, respectively to round out scoring for the Saints.
The men's team recorded an eighth-place finish in the slalom, while the women placed 11th. Combined with the scores from the Nordic team earlier this month, the Saints finished their home carnival in 10th place. Dartmouth took home the team win.
