Alec Nolan recorded a career-best giant slalom finish to lead the St. Lawrence University Alpine ski team at the Saints home carnival on Thursday at Whiteface Mountain.
Nolan skied a two-run time of 2:08.39 good for 14th place, while
Simon Trudeau came in 16th with a time of 2:09.03, marking season-bests for the pair. Nolan's 14th-place was also a career-high for the senior.
Charlie Welch also scored for the Saints, placing 30th with a time of 2:10.95.
Audrey Higgins-Lopez led the women's team with a 25th-place finish.
Emma Gatcliffe and
Lauren Haerter placed 32nd and 38th overall to also score EISA points for SLU.
The men's team recorded a sixth-place finish, while the women came in ninth.
