Emma Strack posted an 11th-place finish, while
Trevor Aitken skied a career-best to lead the St. Lawrence Nordic ski team on day one of the UNH Carnival - NCAA Eastern Regionals - on Friday at the Jackson XC Outdoor Center.
Strack completed the women's 7.5K classic with a time of 22:38.10 good for an 11th-place finish.
Lilli Thomas and
Caroline Tarmy also scored on the women's side, placing 41st and 51st, respectively.
Aitken skied a career-best 28th-place finish with a time of 21:00.00 in the men's 7.5K classic.
Lucas Jenkin and
Leif Harvey also scored for the Saints, placing 53rd and 56th.
"It was a great day for Trevor," said head coach
Ethan Townsend. "We're super proud of him for cracking into the top-30. Emma also had a solid day and we're looking forward to another day of racing to close out the EISA regular season tomorrow."
After day one of competition, the women finished in eighth place, while the men finished 10th.
