The St. Lawrence University men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the first day of the Don Richards Invitational in fifth place.

The Saints posted two relay point-scoring finishes on Friday. Oliver Clancy, Josh Harris, Patrick Noonan, and Anthony Gabrielli placed fifth in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:01.70.

Gabrielli, Noonan, Harris, and Noah Heinrichs added a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:35.79.

In individual competition, Harris placed ninth in the 500-yard freestyle, recording a time of 4:59.56.

RIT holds down the first-place position in the meet after the opening day in the water. The Tigers-hosted invitational continues Saturday in Rochester, N.Y.
