"We're thankful for the opportunity to compete at NCAAs this year," said head coach
Ethan Townsend '98. "Even though there were some tough conditions on the course for us, today was another real solid performance for Steph, she has performed well all season and has been super consistent. On the men's side, George had a great performance and really stepped up and proved he'll be a great EISA competitor. I'm proud of the six that competed and all the team has accomplished this season during a pandemic and happy for our seniors that got to end their collegiate careers at the National Championships."
The University of Utah's Sydney Palmer Legar took first in the women's race in 38:31.0, while Colorado's Magnus Boee claimed the men's title in 48:02.4.
