Grace van Tartwijk edged teammate Carly Jefferson, 8-6, in an all-St. Lawrence final to win the B Flight singles consolation draw on the second and final day of the Mary Hosking Tournament at William Smith College in Geneva, New York.

To get to the final, van Tartwijk posted a pair of 8-5 wins in the first and semifinal rounds; first over Rochester's Bianca Dyer and then over William Smith's Charlotte Engebrecht, while both of Jefferson's wins were 8-4 decisions over Nazareth's Marisa Joyce and William Smith's Alex Greenberg.

Van Tartwijk advanced to two consolation finals for the Saints on Sunday, as she and partner Haley Sherrard garnered two close victories in the opening rounds of the back draw, 9-7 and 8-6 against opponents of Nazareth and Ithaca, respectively, before falling to Hamilton's Ajla Karabegovic and Katharine Roberts, 8-2, in the final.

Marie Bank posted a first-round win in the D Flight singles consolation draw over Hamilton's Hannah Katz, but was edged 9-7 in the semifinal by RIT's Annie Steinbrink.

Note: First round consolation matches were played on Saturday, but results were not available until Sunday afternoon.
