St. Lawrence University first-year
Ian Clough finished fifth in the 100-meter dash and anchored the Saints' 4x100 relay, which also finished fifth, at the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Conference Championships on Thursday afternoon.
Clough, who had the second-fastest 100 time in the qualifying rounds yesterday, dropped six hundredths of a second off his time in the prelims in the final to finish in 10.77 seconds. He was joined by
Remi LeBlanc,
Elijah Wickland Shearer and
Travis Hamre in the 4x100, which finished in 42.63.
The two fifth-place finishes gave the Saints a two-day total of 38 points in the meet, good for a tie for seventh in the 28-team meet.
The meet was the final competition of the year for the Saints.
