Harrison a Finalist for ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Year Honors

St. Lawrence University's Grace Harrison has been named a finalist for ECAC Hockey's Goaltender of the Year award.

Harrison, a sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand, enter this weekend's ECAC Hockey tournament semifinal with a 23-4-4 record in 31 starts this season. She broke the school record for shutouts in a season with her seventh in the Saints' 16th game of the season and has since added two more to her total, most recently in Saturday's 4-0 win over Yale in the second game of the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament.

Harrison posted a 1.44 goals against average and a .933 save percentage in ECAC Hockey games this season and enters this weekend ranked second nationally in shutouts, third in shutouts, fourth in goals against average and seventh in save percentage.

Shea Tiley of Clarkson and Steph Neatby of Princeton are the other two finalists for the award.

The Saints, ranked fourth in the most recent USCHO.com national rankings, are the No. 2 seed in the ECAC Hockey tournament and will face the No. 3 seed, Cornell, ranked seventh nationally, on at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Clarkson's Cheel Arena.
