No. 31 Brandeis handed St. Lawrence women's tennis a 5-1 loss in the Saints final match of the Nor'Easter Bowl on Sunday morning, as the Saints are now 7-5 heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
St. Lawrence's one win came at No. 1 doubles, with senior
Morgan McNeal and junior
Georgia Comber edging the Judges' pair of Haley Cohen and Olivia Leavitt, 8-6.
Emily Wyman and
Alexandra Dadoly lost a close match at No. 2 doubles, 9-7, to Charlotte Aaron and Sophia He and the No. 3 pair of
Hallie Young and
Lia Petersen fell 8-0 to send the Saints to singles trailing 2-1.
Wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 helped the Judges seal the win, with Wyman, McNeal and Dadoly falling in straight sets in their respective matches.
The Saints will play host to the University of Rochester and William Smith in their final home matches of the season on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's Liberty League match versus the Herons is this season's Campus Kids' Day match and will also serve as Senior Day for the Saints lone member of the Class of 2016,
