St. Lawrence University football has promoted Dominic Centofanti, Daniel Lawther and Trey Everson to expanded roles on its coaching staff. Centofanti has been named defensive coordinator and defensive line coach, Lawther has been named offensive coordinator while retaining his quarterbacks coach role, and Everson has been named special teams and recruiting coordinator, and defensive backs coach.
"Dominic, Daniel, and Trey have proven to be effective leaders and coaches in their time with our program." said Stephen P. Munn '64 head coach, Dan Puckhaber. "It was an easy decision to expand their roles and responsibilities for the 2026 season."
Centofanti joined the Saints program in July of 2023 as recruiting coordinator, special teams coordinator and defensive line coach. He arrived at St. Lawrence from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where he served as Coordinator of Sport Performance and Fitness Center. Before his time with the Wildcats, he was run game coordinator, offensive line coach and head football strength and conditioning coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College. He also served as head strength and conditioning coach and offensive coordinator at Franklin College from 2018 to 2020.
Centofanti holds a master's degree in public health from Elmhurst College and a bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching from SUNY Brockport. A Potsdam, N.Y. native, he is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA and is First Aid, CPR/AED certified by the American Red Cross.
Lawther spent the 2025 season as the Saints' quarterbacks coach and offensive assistant after graduating from St. Lawrence earlier that year. As a player, the Pittsford, N.Y. native was a three-year captain and four-year starting quarterback for St. Lawrence. He played in 31 games, completing 398 passes for 40.98 yards per game and 28 touchdowns while adding 663 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. Lawther was a three-year Hoffman Cup MVP and a two-time All-Liberty League Honorable Mention.
Everson, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., spent the 2025 season as the Saints' cornerbacks coach and defensive assistant. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pace University's Lubin School of Business. As a player, Everson lined up at defensive back for the Setters and earned NE10 Academic honor roll accolades.
