Alec Nolan led the Saints for the second day in a row, posting a 12th-place finish in the men's slalom, leading the St. Lawrence University Alpine ski team on day two of the Dartmouth Carnival on Saturday afternoon.
Nolan, who placed fifth in the giant slalom on Friday, posted a two-run time of 1:41.94 in the slalom as the lone finisher for the men.
First-year
Mollie McTigue recorded her best result of the season, finishing 33rd in 1:51.48.
Emma Gatcliffe and
Arielle Haccoun Choquette placed in the top-40, finishing 37th and 38th, respectively.
"Another solid day for Alec, he put together a complete weekend with solid results which is good to see," said head coach
Willi Steinrotter. "It was good to see three of our women in the top 30, with Mollie breaking into the top-35."
Overall, the women placed ninth, while the men finished in 11th. Combined with the scores from the Saints' Nordic team, SLU placed ninth overall.
