Six Saints Named AHCA All-American Scholars

The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) recognized six St. Lawrence University women's hockey players as Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2024-25 season.

Melissa Jefferies, Taylor Lum, Emma-Sofie Nordström, Anna Segedi, Sarah Thompson, and Tori Verbeek represented the Scarlet and Brown on a list of 349 Division I women's hockey student-athletes and 709 total men's and women's student-athletes across the country.

Lum earned the distinction for the third consecutive year after being named All-American Scholars for the last two seasons. Nordström and Segedi earned All-American Scholar honors for the second straight year.

To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
