St. Lawrence Sees Relay, Distance Performances on Day 2 at Regionals

The St. Lawrence University men's track and field team closed out the AARTFC Championships with a top-six finish and a solid middle-distance showing.

The quartet of Cyrus Goetze, Nicholas Lyndaker, Riley Cushman, and Peter Stubler combined for a sixth-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay, crossing the line in 7:57.19 and securing key points for the team.

Peter Stubler also competed individually in the 1500-meter run, where he placed 16th with a time of 3:59.59, narrowly missing his personal best mark in the event. The Saints concluded the two-day regional championship with positive momentum heading into NCAA championship.

The Saints finished the meet 36th overall among a large group of competitive teams in the regional field.
