Caroline Tarmy recorded a career-best 26th-place finish to lead the St. Lawrence University Nordic ski team on day two of the Dartmouth Carnival on Saturday afternoon at Oak Hill.
Tarmy skied the 20K freestyle and posted a final time of 55:02.5 and earned a team-best 20 EISA points.
Lilli Thomas also matched her career-best 32nd in 55:58.4, while
Carli Krebs placed 58th in 59:13.4 to round out scoring for the Saints.
Evan Nichols led the men's team with a 51st-place finish with a final time of 51:07.9.
Justin Levesque finished 55th in 51:33.6 and
Trevor Aitken placed 67th in 53:49.7.
"Super impressed by our top three on the women's side, especially with Carli coming from the back of the mass start," said head coach
Ethan Townsend. "The guys are working hard and put in a solid effort and improved from yesterday closing in on the top-50. Evan and Justin should be proud of their improvements."
The women's team finished the day in ninth place, while the men came in 10th.
