St. Lawrence University men's cross country senior
Nick Lyndaker has been selected as the Liberty League Runner of the Year. The honor caps a career defined by championship performances and steady leadership at the front of the Saints' pack.
Lyndaker won the Liberty League individual title in each of the last two seasons. His 2024 championship run set the fastest time in league history. Those results anchored a fall that also included individual victories at the Hoffmann Invitational and the Hamilton Short Course Invitational.
He delivered a strong performance at the Paul Short White Race. He finished thirteenth in a deep field and was the top Liberty League runner in the event.
Lyndaker earned a spot at the NCAA Championship for the fourth time in his career. He is only the fourth St. Lawrence men's cross country athlete to qualify for nationals four times.
The honor caps a tremendous career in Scarlet and Brown for the Canton, N.Y. native on the cross country course, as he now embarks on the indoor season on the track.
