Patrick Russell and
Nick Lyndaker both competed in the NCAA championship Saturday morning, with both runners placing similarly among the strongest field of the season.
Russell was the top Saint finisher. He crossed the line in 160th place with a time of 25:44.0 on the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course. Lyndaker followed not far behind, placing 175th in 25:49.4.
The results were the final cross country appearances for both Lyndaker and Russell, wrapping up four-year careers in Scarlet and Brown. Lyndaker finishes his career as the fastest time record holder for St. Lawrence's Ronald. C Hoffmann Cross Country Course, and back-to-back Liberty League champion.
