The St. Lawrence University women's swimming and diving team earned first-place finishes across multiple events in Friday's dual meet at Clarkson on Friday.
The Saints were led by a dominant effort from their freestyle group and balanced contributions in the individual medley and breaststroke races.
Lilly Mruzik set the tone early with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 2:05.42 to secure the top spot and establish early momentum for St. Lawrence.
The sprint events were then controlled by Gracie Ringer, who swept both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races. Ringer clocked times of 26.87 and 59.27, respectively, while teammate Ella Kuchman added key points with a second-place finish in the 50 free at 27.58, giving the Saints a 1-2 finish in that event.
In the 200-yard individual medley, Garyn Finz turned in another first-place swim, powering to a time of 2:27.01 to lead wire to wire.
The Saints' success continued in the breaststroke, where Ila Musclow claimed first in the 100-yard event and Carlyn Rapoport followed closely behind in second with a time of 1:17.28.
St. Lawrence returns to action at Augsbury Pool next weekend, as part of a three-meet homestand when they welcome Bard to the North Country on Saturday, November 8.
