Following a strong end to the 2023-24 season, the St. Lawrence University men's rowing team's Varsity 8 recorded a second-place finish at the Liberty League Championships and are eager to open the 2024-25 season on Sunday at the Mohawk Fall Classic Regatta.
Last season, at the Liberty League Championships, St. Lawrence took second with a time of 6:13.129, just 5.121 seconds behind Ithaca, who took first. The Scarlet and Brown bested RIT, Union and Skidmore. The 2V8 finished their race in fifth place with a final time of 7:00.300.
Â
