The St. Lawrence University men's rowing Novice 8 rowed to an impressive first-place finish to lead the Saints at the Head of the Fish on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The Saints' Novice 8 rowed to first place, finishing in 11:55.835, besting boats from the University's of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, along with two boats from Middlebury and another from Boston College.
The men's Varsity 8 placed seventh with a time of 11:03.847, while the men's 2V8 also placed seventh overall in 12:02.599.
The men raced two collegiate fours, finishing back-to-back in seventh and eighth, recording times of 12:37.546 and 12:40.046, respectively.
The Head of the Fish wrapped up the fall semester for the Saints, who will be back on the water after their spring break trip to warmer weather.
