The St. Lawrence University men's rowing team continued their undefeated season as the Saints' Varsity 8 topped Union at the Great Adirondack Boat Race on Sunday at Long Lake.

There were no times kept today and conditions were challenging but rowable. The Saint and Dutchmen were tight off the line, but the Saints were slowly able to pull away, and the Varsity 8 won by three boat lengths.

The Saints' 2V struggled at the starting line with the waves and the wind, which allowed Union to pull away and win the 2V8 race by two boat lengths.

"A huge thank you to the families and support, as well as to the Adirondack Hotel, the ADK Trading Post and the Town of Long Lake for hosting the Great Adirondack Boat Race for making all the rowers and families feel so welcome," said head coach George Repicky.

After a first-place finish at Liberty League's last weekend, the Saints will head to Mercer Lake in New Jersey for the IRA DIII National Championships on June 2-4.
