The St. Lawrence University men's rowing team is back on the water and will open the fall portion of their 2026-27 schedule this Sunday, September 27 at the Head of the Rideau in Ottawa, Ontario.
This year's roster features seven first years, six sophomores, one juniors, and five seniors.
After opening the season at the Head of the Rideau this weekend, the Scarlet and Brown will make a trip to Rochester for the Head of the Genesee on October 10. The Saints will then wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs on October 24. After waiting out a long winter season in the North Country, the Saints will head for warmer weather for spring training before getting back on the water up North.
Right now, the Saints are scheduled to race UVM on April 10 before the New York State Championships on April 17. SLU will then travel back to Rochester to face RIT and Rochester on April 24 before the Liberty League Championships on April 30 and the Great Adirondack Boat Race vs. Union to close the season on Sunday, May 9.

Champagne garnered Second-Team All-Liberty League honors for the Saints last season.
Coleman Hayes is the lone junior on this year's roster and is joined by returning sophomores,
Josef Frankenfeld,
Kyle Henderson,
Joshua Malloy,
William Sexton,
Owen Strout, and
Zachi Wood-Davis.
Newcomers to the Saints lineup this season include –
Liam Block, Gerard Bottoni,
Colby Englehart,
Theo Feury,
Antonio Pattavina,
Will VanTassel, and
Cody Vassar.
At the Liberty League Championships last season, St. Lawrence's 1V8 took fourth place, recording a time of 6:45.129, finishing ahead of RIT and at the NYS Championships, the Saints 1V8 recorded a fourth-place finish in their first heat, finishing with a time of 6:5.183. In the petit final, SLU claimed the first-place spot with a time of 7:43.000, finishing ahead of Rochester, Manhattan and Binghamton.
The Saints wrapped up the 2025-26 season with the Great Adirondack Boat Race against Union at Long Lake on May 10th.
