Jimmy King tied for 40th to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore at the par-71 Ballston Spa Country Club on Sunday.
In a field of 108 golfers, King shot a 72, just one over par, on day one and shot a 77 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 40th place with a 149 on the weekend.
Ben Scholes dropped four strokes off his round-one score of 77 and hit a 73 on day two of the tournament, finishing the weekend in a tie for 50th with a 150.
Cooper Evans tied for 64th with a 152, while Wesley Bevins and
Sam Lyman tied for 74th, both shooting a 155 on the weekend.
St. Lawrence placed 11th out of 19 teams on the weekend with a combined 603 (298, 305). Trinity College took home the team title with a 564, while the Bantams Nicholas Li claimed the individual title shooting seven under par for a 135.
