Gabe Ward claimed fourth place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team this weekend at the Hamilton Invitational at the par-72 Rome Country Club.
Ward, who was tied for fourth place, held down the same spot, for fourth place overall with a 148, shooting eight birdies on the weekend. Â
Ben DeBiase dropped nine strokes off his score from Saturday to move up 14 spots in the standings and tie for 18th with a 157 (83,74).
Conlin Bradshaw moved up 10 spots, shooting an 83 on Saturday and a 76 on Sunday to tie for 22nd with a 159.
Kevin Dillon also moved up 10 spots and dropped 12 strokes to finish in 26th with a 160.
St. Lawrence dropped 24 strokes off their combined score from round one and shot the second-best score on Sunday to finish the tournament in third place with a 618 (321, 297).
Hamilton took first place with a 593 (301, 292).
