Gabe Ward shot a 148 over two rounds to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team on day one of the Skidmore Fall Invitational at the par-72 Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course on Saturday.
Ward shot par for round one and finished four over on round two to tie for 24th place after the first two rounds.
Ben DeBiase shot a 76 and 73 for a 149 to tie for 29th overall.
Kevin Dillon tied for 69th eith a 157, while
Jimmy King sits in 78th with a 159 and
Conlin Bradshaw tied for 79th with a 160.
George Sherbrooke competed as an individual and tied for 41st with a 152.
St. Lawrence ended day one and the first two rounds of the tournament tied for ninth place with Middlebury and RPI, all shooting a 604. The Saints shot a combined 300 during round one and a 304 during round two. Â Amherst leads the team scoring, sitting in first place with a 578 (296, 282).
