King Leads Saints After Round One at Dr. Tim Brown Invitational

Jimmy King shot one over par to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore at the par-71 Ballston Spa Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

In a field of 108 golfers, King shot a 72, just one over par, and sits in a four-way tie for 16th place. Sam Lyman shot a 74 and is currently tied for 28th, while Cooper Evans shot a 75 and is tied for 39th.

Ben Scholes and Wesley Bevins both shot a 77 in round one and are tied for 65th.

At the end of round one, the Saints sit in 10th place, with a combined 298, shooting 14 over par. Husson University sits in first with a 282, while Babson sits in second with a 286.

Williams College's Philip Clifton shot four under par and sits in first place individually after round one.
