Jimmy King shot one over par to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore at the par-71 Ballston Spa Country Club on Saturday afternoon.
In a field of 108 golfers, King shot a 72, just one over par, and sits in a four-way tie for 16th place.
Sam Lyman shot a 74 and is currently tied for 28th, while
Cooper Evans shot a 75 and is tied for 39th.
Ben Scholes and Wesley Bevins both shot a 77 in round one and are tied for 65th.
At the end of round one, the Saints sit in 10th place, with a combined 298, shooting 14 over par. Husson University sits in first with a 282, while Babson sits in second with a 286.
Williams College's Philip Clifton shot four under par and sits in first place individually after round one.
