Bevins Fifth After Round Two of Liberty League Championships

Wes Bevins sits in fifth place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round two of the Liberty League Championships at the par-72 Shenendoah Golf Club at the Turning Stone in Verona, N.Y. on Saturday.

Bevins shot a 71 on Friday and a 74 on Saturday for a combined 145 to move into fifth place.

Jimmy King shot a 78 on Saturday and is currently tied for sixth place, while Cooper Evans dropped two strokes off his score from Friday, shooting a 75.

Sam Lyman is tied for 16th with a combined 153 and Ben Scholes is tied for 28th with a 161.

St. Lawrence shot a combined 292 on Friday and a 305 on Saturday and sits in fourth place after round two with a 597.  

At the end of day two, RPI's Matt Buckley and Joey Harrigan are tied for first place, while the Engineers continue to hold down the first-place team spot with a combined 588.
