Wes Bevins sits in fifth place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round two of the Liberty League Championships at the par-72 Shenendoah Golf Club at the Turning Stone in Verona, N.Y. on Saturday.
Bevins shot a 71 on Friday and a 74 on Saturday for a combined 145 to move into fifth place.
Jimmy King shot a 78 on Saturday and is currently tied for sixth place, while
Cooper Evans dropped two strokes off his score from Friday, shooting a 75.
Sam Lyman is tied for 16th with a combined 153 and
Ben Scholes is tied for 28th with a 161.
St. Lawrence shot a combined 292 on Friday and a 305 on Saturday and sits in fourth place after round two with a 597. Â
At the end of day two, RPI's Matt Buckley and Joey Harrigan are tied for first place, while the Engineers continue to hold down the first-place team spot with a combined 588.
