Kathleen Merchant finished in eighth place in the shot put as the St. Lawrence women's track & field team competed on the second day of the Atlantic Regionals in Bethlehem, Penn.

Merchant threw the implement 12.15 meters on her second throw to secure eighth place. Kimberly Merchant 22^nd throwing 10.77 meters.

Olivia Middleton jumped 5.35 meters on her second attempt to take 16^th place in the long jump.

In the 800-meter race, Leana Dickhens ran a personal best 2:22.58, nearly two second better than her previous best at the Liberty League championships two weeks ago.

The NCAA will announce the field for the 2022 outdoor track & field championship meet on May 20^th.
