The St. Lawrence women's track & field team won seven events and hit a number of league or regional qualifying marks on their way to winning the six team meet.

Hayley Castagnier won the 60 meter dash in 8.27 seconds and took second in the 60 hurdles in 10.11 seconds, both league qualifiers.

Katherine Sheehy continued her impressive junior season with another win and another personal best, this time in the 800 meters. She ran the four laps in 2:27.43, a league qualifier.

Lucia D'Acchille won the 60 hurdles in 10.04, a season best, and a league qualifier.

The distance medley relay team of Emma Palumbo, Alexa Smith, Alli Sibold, and Billie McClosky hit the regional qualifying time with their 12:56.37 winning performance.

Maia Wahlquist won her fourth high jump of the year, raising the bar to 1.66 meters, which brings her to 13^th in division III.

Laken Mooney hit the league standard in the long jump, winning with a jump of 4.96 meters, her best jump of the season. She also took second in the triple jump. She hopped, skipped, and jumped to 9.93 meters, just seven centimeters shy of the league mark.

Kathleen Merchant and Kimberly Merchant hit the regional marks in both shot and weight. Kathleen won shot with a 12.32 m throw, and took third in weight, with a 14.55 meter throw. Kimberly took second in each event, throwing the weight 14.94 meters, and the shot 11.73 meters.

The Saints won the meet with 181 points across 17 events, ahead of Plattsburgh, Utica, Vermont, Mohawk Valley, and Potsdam.

The Saints next compete at the Liberty League Championships on February 25 and 26 in Ithaca, N.Y.
