The St. Lawrence women's swim team won 10 of 11 events in the pool to defeat Saint Michael's college 108-96 on Saturday afternoon in Canton, N.Y.
Fiona Reiner and
Maggie Wenger each won two individual events to pace the swimming Saints. Reiner's victory in the 200 freestyle was a season best in 2:04.80, and her 1:04.85 in the 100 backstroke was just off a season best. Wenger won the 500 freestyle in 5:24.44 in the first time she has swam the race this season, her time of 25.49 seconds in the 50 freestyle was just off a season best as well. Marissa Telech beat their previous season best by nearly a second.
Katie Taberski also lowered her season best in the 100 breast by finishing first in 1:13.67.

"We had some very good swims today. It was very encouraging to the swimmers do well in back to back meets. The Liberty League Championships is a 4-day meet, so having back to back meets this weekend and next weekend will give them good exposure to having to swim well multiple days."
