Sophomore
Wes Bevins tied for sixth place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team against Clarkson, Oswego State and SUNY Canton on Tuesday afternoon at the par-72 Potsdam Town and Country Club in Potsdam, New York.
While Bevins led the Saints' team of five, first-year
Benjamin Scholes competed as an individual and placed second shooting just three over par on the afternoon.
Grant Van Buren tied for 19th with an 84, while
Ben Lloyd ties for 22nd with an 85.
The Saints finished sixth with a combined 333 on the day. Oswego State took first with a 311 and Clarkson's Casey Ditzel claimed the individual title with a 72.
St. Lawrence will travel to Middlebury, Vermont for the Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend, September 11-12.
