Brian Gannon,
Peter Koch and
Dan Robinson earned 2021 USILA/Dynamic Division III Scholar All-America honors, as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) at the end of June.
In 1989 the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.
To be awarded Scholar All-American, a student-athlete must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. Please note that simply being a member of the North/South team and/or being All League/Conference does not make the Student-Athlete a lock for the award. Each Individual is evaluated on a case by case basis by the Scholar AA committee.
Gannon, an Economics and Business in the Liberal Arts major, caused a team-best 13 turnovers and picked up 24 ground balls.
Koch, scored 14 goals and assisted on 10 others for 24 points. He scored two man-up tallies, picked up five ground balls and caused three turnovers for the Scarlet and Brown.
A Geology major, Robinson picked up 17 ground balls, caused 12 turnovers and recorded one assist this season. His 12 caused turnovers ranked second on the Saints' squad.
All three Saints earned All-Liberty League honors, while Robinson and Koch also earned USILA All-America Honorable Mention and IMLCA All-Region honors earlier this year.
