St. Lawrence University sophomores
Julia Gosling and
Lucy Morgan were both named First-Team All-ECAC selections, while first-year defenseman
Kristina Bahl earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team, the conference office announced on Saturday afternoon.
Heading into the ECAC Hockey championship game, Gosling ranks second in the league in goals per game with seven in nine games played, and is tied for third with two game-winning goals. Since joining the team after missing the first three games of the season, she has either scored or assisted on 10 of the Saints' 25 goals. She was a finalist for the league's Best Forward Award and is a finalist for Player of the Year honors, as well.
Morgan, who was named the ECAC Hockey MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Year on Friday, goes into tomorrow's ECAC Hockey championship with a .936 save percentage and a 2.14 goals against average. She has posted more than 30 saves in seven of her 10 starts this season, including four of her six wins.
Bahl finished the regular season with five assists, good for a tie for fifth among all defensemen in the league and second among rookie blueliners. All five of her assists came in last week's three-game series with Clarkson — including three in the regular season finale — as Bahl helped the Saints sweep the Golden Knights to claim the No. 2 seed in the ECAC Hockey tournament.
The Saints will head to Hamilton, New York, tomorrow, to face top-seeded Colgate for the ECAC Hockey championship. Opening faceoff is set for 2 p.m.
