St. Lawrence University sophomore
Julia Gosling has been named a finalist for the ECAC Hockey Best Forward award.
Â
Gosling, a native of London, Ontario, missed the Saints' first three games of the season while attending the BFL Canada National Women's Team Training Camp in Calgary. She made an immediate impact upon her return, leading the team with six goals — including two game-winning goals — in eight games.
Â
She scored two goals and added an assist in a 4-1 win over Quinnipiac in her first game of the season on February 13, and she also scored twice in a 4-3 win over Clarkson on February 26, including the overtime game-winner. She also had a pair of assists in a 2-1 win over Clarkson on February 28.
Colgate's Danielle Serdachny and Clarkson's Caitrin Lonergan are the other two finalists for the award.
Â
St. Lawrence will host Clarkson in an ECAC Hockey semifinal on Friday at 5 p.m.
